Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.  We also accept payment by PayPal or Amazon Pay. If you decide to use either of these two methods, you’ll be taken to either the PayPal or Amazon Pay website, where you’ll be prompted to log in and process your payment. You’ll then be directed back to our merchant website once your transaction is complete.

Ordering and delivery

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at lisa@thehardwoodforest.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

Why has my order been canceled?

We typically only cancel orders if there’s a problem with stock, or if you’ve asked us to cancel. Please accept our apologies if your order is canceled because of a problem at our end. We’ll always offer an alternative product and process your refund in full, as quickly as possible.

Can I change or cancel my order?

We understand that things come up or minds can be changed and we would be happy to work with you. All our products are handmade and made to order. We create orders in the order they are received. Once production has started on your order we can no longer accept change or cancel requests. If production has not started on your order please contact and we will do our best to help you!

When will my order arrive?

Orders that require shipping within the U.S. will be delivered within three to ten days, depending on your preferred shipping method. Shipping to countries outside of the U.S. may take up to 14 days. Please get in touch if your order hasn’t been delivered according to the expected timescales, and we will check your order status.

Please note on all handmade items there is a 2-3 weeks processing time before your order will ship. This gives us time to create all your beautiful goodies with care. Supplies and Kits will ship within 2-5 days. 

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs depend on the item you’ve ordered and the country where it’s being delivered. Please refer to our Shipping Policies for more information. Shipping Policies

Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, through to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

My Package says delivered, but I didn’t receive it.

Sometimes USPS tracking information can be incorrect, and packages are marked as delivered before they actually arrive. Your package will most likely be delivered in the next day or so. Things to also try in the meantime. Contact neighbors to check if it was placed at the wrong home. You can also contact your local postmaster. They can give you the GPS coordinates of the delivery location. If it is their error they will do what they can in their power to fix it. Unfortunately, if all attempts to recover your package are unfruitful, the next step is to file a stolen package report with your local Police Department if your package was deemed stolen. Please let us know if you are having trouble locating your goodies and we will lend all the help we can. Be sure to have your order number and tracking information to help speed things up! 

Returns

Can I return or exchange an item?

Please see the Return Policies. Our goal is to make sure you are happy with your order. Please inspect your order on arrival and check for any damages. Please report any damages within 2 days of arrival so we can examine and start an exchange process. All of our items are made to order and we do not offer exchanges. 

Weddings and Custom Orders

Can I order custom colors on predesigned flower bouquets?

Absolutely! Please fill out the custom Bouquet questionnaire under the wedding bouquet tab. Please note there that you would like a specific bouquet and the new colors you would like. Or you can make changes and create the perfect bouquet for you. Once the form is filled out I will be in contact with you over email and finalize all details. Once the final design is decided, a custom product link will be created for you. All flowers are handmade and not started until payment is received. Keep this in mind during the design process as speedy communication will help. 

Can I order custom colors on predesigned Garlands?

Absolutely! Please fill out the custom garland questionnaire under the garland tab. Please note there that you would like a specific garland and the new colors you would like. Or you can make changes and create the perfect garland for you. Once the form is filled out I will be in contact with you over email and finalize all details. Once the final design is decided, a custom product link will be created for you. All flowers are handmade and not started until payment is received. Keep this in mind during the design process as speedy communication will help. 

What do I expect after filling out a Bridal Bouquet Questionnaire?

First off Congratulations! And thank you for walking through this process to create a custom wedding bouquet! To get started you need to fill out the bridal questionnaire under the wedding bouquet tab. Wedding Consult Questionnaire There are quite a few questions that help me get a good sense of your theme colors and what you're looking for! Once it has been submitted you will receive a confirmation email. You will also need to purchase the bridal consult product. Bridal Consult Listing The total of that listing will go towards your final overall total once that has been determined. At this point, if I have any other questions I will ask them over email! So be sure to check and make sure your email is correct! We will work on finalizing color palettes. I will provide swatch photos so you can see your selections altogether. We will also determine quantities and what flowers will be in the final bouquet. We will work within your budget to make the most of it! Once the design is approved and locked in a final product listing will be created for you. Work on your bouquet will start at the time of payment. We package all our wedding bouquets with lots of care! Once you receive your bouquet you may need to adjust some wires from any jostling during transit but that's the great thing about felt flowers on wires! You can adjust until you are happy! All bouquets come wrapped (unless asked for loose stems). We offer many different types of wrapping but will coordinate colors and be sure to match the best we can to your wedding colors. Do you make other wedding items other than Bouquets?

Absolutely! We can create whole bridal sets like Bridesmaid Bouquets, Mother Bouquets, Flower Girl Bouquets, Boutonnieres, Corsages, Flower Crowns, Hair Clips, and Bridal Party Hoops. Other items like centerpieces and garlands are also available! Want something that I don't have listed here? Don't hesitate to ask!

All the video tutorials are hosted on YouTube. Follow this link to locate which tutorial you would like to watch! YouTube Channel They are all public so not to worry about them going anywhere! Start and stop as much as you need! You will get to keep access to the video forever!
